Abstract
Unity and solidarity are fundamental pillars of Islamic society, which have faced numerous challenges in contemporary era. The present article aims to explain the foundations, components, and strategies for realizing this concept in society, using a descriptive-analytical method and focusing on Nahj al-Balaghah. The findings show that unity in Imam Ali’s (‘a) thought is based on theological (monotheism), anthropological (common nature), ethical (virtues), and rational foundations, and its most important components are justice, religious brotherhood, tolerance, and public oversight, the realization of which requires fighting obstacles such as arrogance, ignorance, and oppression
