Insight is a spiritual faculty that arises with the help of divine light and helps an individual to find the essence of matters in the dusty space of political seditions. The aim of this article is to examine the role of insight in distinguishing right from wrong in social seditions, which is written in a descriptive-analytical manner and seeks to analyze the concept of insight and its impact on different classes of society, in the words of Imam Ali (‘a). The research findings show that insightful individuals are aware of their own interests and mischiefs in destructive social phenomena and know what improves them and what leads them to corruption. One of the most fundamental strategies is increasing insight to confront the plotters of sedition and it can be a roadmap for the masses to enter the right front and stay away from the wrong front. This strategy also considers deep insight essential for the elites so that they can find effective approaches to prevent and counter the adverse effects of sedition. In addition, insightful leaders play an important role in overcoming seditions by raising awareness and providing reassurance. The results of this study indicate that insight, with its functions and principles, can help all people to better recognize seditionists so that they are not deceived by enemies.
